Hi, I’m Patrick. I created this site to share all of my ketogenic recipes I’ve created over the years. I wanted a place where they could all exist and continue to grow as I continue to live a ketogenic lifestyle. I share the foods I love to eat and snapshots of my life with you on my blog.
I began eating a low carb, high fat diet in early 2017. I started coming across bits of information about how a diet could improved cognition, appetite control, increased energy, insulin sensitivity and using an alternative energy source such as fat. I started digging into the research and any available studies I could get my hands on. I became more and more interested and made the decision to try this new ketogenic diet. After a few weeks of tracking my food, pricking my finger for glucose and ketone readings, I realized… I felt really good! This could be a lasting change and I wanted to incorporate this new way of eating into a lifestyle.
What began as an individual experiment soon became a shared experience with thousands of new friends.
I started posting my meals and creations on Instagram and quickly discovered a supportive and caring community of like minded individuals. It’s hard to imagine a simple diet could connect so many wonderful people on similar journeys to self-improved health. Turns out the internet can really be a great place!
During the journey my interest in photography had also been renewed. While preparing my meals I took a little extra time at the end to capture each one with care. I realized I enjoy the creative process of both cooking and photography. As I continue to learn and progress both my culinary and photography skills, I share the results with you hoping you might enjoy them as well.
